Recipe: Turkey Bolognaise with the lot

This is seriously one of my favourite, lazy family meals that is served on a weekly basis. In my view, it has everything - protein, carbs, vegetables in a very yummy sauce! This meal can be frozen, thawed overnight in the fridge and re-heated in the microwave too. Seriously, what's there not to love about this meal?
 

If you are running out of meal ideas and wish to serve up a different kind of bolognaise, this may just fit the bill for you and your family.

Ingredients
500g turkey mince
1 x 420g can of Heinz brand Big Red Tomato Soup
1 x can of brown lentils, drained of liquid
1 medium sized zucchini, cut into cubes
2 medium sized carrots, cut into cubes
2 medium celery sticks, cut into cubes
2 handfuls of fresh spinach
10 cherry tomatoes, cut into half
2 tsps. garlic salt
Rice bran oil spray

1. In a deep sauce pan placed over high heat, coat the pan with the oil spray. Add turkey mince, brown the meat and constantly break the meat while cooking for 5 minutes. Add everything (excluding tomato soup), stir well and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the tomato soup and mix well.

2. Cook on high for 5 minutes and simmer for 15 minutes until all the vegetables are soft.

3. Serve immediately with pasta / rice / toast / mashed potatoes OR on its own
